FEATURED GAME CHANGER:

Kara Busemeyer

LaRosa’s has been a proud supporter of high school sports in Cincinnati for decades. Now, we’re taking that tradition even further with the LaRosa’s Game Changers Program – recognizing high school sports MVPs who go beyond the scoreboard.

INTRODUCING OUR NEXT LAROSA FAMILY FOUNDATION GAME CHANGER MVP:

MOUNT NOTRE DAME’S KARA BUSEMEYER!

Mount Notre Dame senior Kara Busemeyer is, in her coach’s words, “everything good about the basketball program and the game itself.” Now in her third year as varsity basketball manager, Kara is known throughout MND as “The GM” or “The CEO” for her incredible leadership, dedication, and ability to keep everything running behind the scenes.

From cleaning floors and prepping the gym to managing hydration and equipment, Kara tackles every thankless task with enthusiasm and heart — and no one brings more energy or support to the bench. Beyond basketball, she also serves as stage manager for MND’s theater department, balancing both roles with unmatched commitment and care.

Kara truly embodies the LaRosa Family Foundation Game Changer spirit — selflessness, service, and relentless dedication to her team and community. Mount Notre Dame basketball wouldn’t be the same without her, and we’re proud to celebrate her as a true Game Changer!
